i did this drawing a few months back but was unable to submit it because someone stole my sketch pad. oddly, it turned up last night in a dorm room i had never been in. fortunately my friend rimi recognized that it was mine and he gave it back to me when i was in the elevator on the way up to see my boyfriend. so here it is. i got the idea from the comic series Transmetropolitan, which, in my opinion, is the best comic ever. that's a lot coming from someone who tries to desperately hide a geeky side. but anyways, in the comic, its very very scifi and one of the things that people can do to modify themselves, because tatoos are just not enough, is give themselves "traits" like that of aliens or animals. One frame had a woman who had taken a bird trait and instead of hair she had feathers with little wings on her head, so i got that idea from there.
