i don't exactly know where this shirt came from. all i know is that walgreens sells t-shirts for $2.00 and i get a discount. so i bought a couple different colors, one of them being this royal purple color. and then i got the idea. so i took in the sides of the shirt to make it fitted. then i traced the lines of where the shirt would cut off with a dressmaking pencil and then cut it off. i used what i had cut away as a template for what i had to cut out of lace. i sewed that on, then made the sleves of the purple shirt smaller. i decided i didn't want the sleeves and shirt to end in their store made serged hem, so i put on more lace on the sleeves and bottom hem. then i painted on the penguin. i dont' know where that came from. it was just like, i'm gonna put a penguin on my shirt. so i did. and i really like how it came out. its a comfy shirt
